Manage your Transit Account

Having a Transit account makes it easier to use the app. You can save key information, access new transport services, and never lose your GO points.

  • Save app settings (such as home and work locations, or your favourite transit lines) so you pick up right where you left off with Transit if you get a new phone,

Create an account

  1. Tap the gear icon: 

  2. Under My account, select Sign in: 
  3. Enter your email address.
  4. Follow the steps to create an account. 

Reset your password

Warning: If you choose to reset your password, credit card information associated with your account will be removed and you will need to re-enter it. Try to remember your password before you proceed with the reset!
  1. Enter your email address to sign in to your account. 
  2. Select "Forgot your password?" when you are prompted.

  3. Press Send email:

  4. On your phone, check your email for a message from Transit.
  5. Tap the Reset Password link in the email. The link will open in Transit.
  6. Follow the steps to reset your password and setup your payment details.
  7. Remember your new password! 

Sign out of your account

  1. Tap the gear icon: 

  2. Under My account, tap on your email address in the green transit bar: 

  3. Select Sign out:
